Gerry Leahy : Director

Gerry has had over 15 extensive knowledge and experience in Facilities Management integration, CAD automation, dynamic web design and streamlining FM functions such as space management, maintenance systems, help desk, moves and changes, assets and people management.

Prepared the specifications and RFP’s and project managed the acquisition, installation and customisation of the Computer Integrated Facilities Management (CIFM) system ARCHIBUS/FM for Morgan Stanley Europe. Project brought in on time and under budget. Implementation has saved Morgan Stanley extensive time and money.

Managed the development of a global space management system and successfully integrated it to CAD and various corporate systems. Responsible for the development and implementation of web applications, which have greatly enhanced the capabilities of the CIFM system for the client.

Gerry had extensive experience in the design, development and delivery of space management technology solutions for high end and demanding clients

Gabriel Fleming : Director

Set up Space Data Technology in 2000, with Gerard Leahy, to meet the growing needs of our Clients. Gabriel has worked in the Facility business since 1994

Gabriel has been instrumental in expanding the service from the original CAD service to include Tactical Planning, Strategic Planning, Project Management IT Support and Reporting.

Gabriel main area of expertise is systems design of space management systems and has developed many systems over the years, the main ones are:

• SPACSY, an application to calculate the internal charge back to the users of space.
• iDesk, an application to track and managed the location of personnel.
• Building Information, a web application that delivers live data on the usage and occupancy of buildings.

Gabriel is currently working on rolling out the applications developed to a large city client globally.

Mike Millest : Director , Cape Town Office

Began consulting to Elite Consultants in 1998. Mike was one of the founding team of Space Data Technology UK in 2000.

Mikes role was primarily looking after the Strategic Planning, headcount forecasts, space forecasts for Morgan Stanley then becoming responsible for all aspects of space planning and strategic projects of the European Offices. Mike has worked in the Facilities management industry since 1998.

In 2003 Mike relocated to South Africa where he began consulting for various corporate establishments. Mike opened the Space Data Technology South Africa office in 2005 where he manages an outsourcing resource. Current and Previous clients include Morgan Stanley, The City of Cape Town, Foschini Group, Media24.com, JP Morgan and Truworths.

Mike has a good knowledge of strategic planning, space planning and Drawing Standards. Mike has experience in Facilities Management integration, CAD automation also asset and people management.

Creating an Off-Site resource naturally saves money with the confidence that he has the experience and a knowledge of processes within the investment banking environment.
